ICYMI: Zach Dembo releases new ad with Maw Lucille laser-focused on costs
Lexington, KY – This week, ninth-generation Kentuckian and candidate for Congress Zach Dembo released a positive ad for the general election, sitting down with his grandmother Lucille to discuss the high costs hitting Central Kentucky families.
Lucille comes from seven generations of farmers, with her children still working on Kentucky farms, so she knows firsthand that people are hurting.
Everything from gas, diesel, groceries, and healthcare have become more expensive over the past two years, and corrupt Washington politicians aren’t doing anything about it. Zach’s listening to his grandma and is focusing on helping working families who are struggling to get by in Central Kentucky as Ralph Alvarado campaigns with the status quo politicians that brought us into this mess.
WATCH “LUCILLE” HERE.

TRANSCRIPT:
ZD: I’m Zach Dembo and this is my grandma. Maw, when I told you I was running for Congress, what did you say?
Grandma Lucille: You’re crazy.
ZD: No. No. After that.
L: Cost, cost, cost. This is what you focus on.
ZD: And we are. Like restoring Medicaid cuts, taking on insurance companies overcharging you, and ending the tariffs that are raising our costs.
L: Hot damn.
ZD: That’s what I’ll do in Congress, and it’s why I approve this message.
L: I still think you’re crazy.
ZD: I love you, too.
“Unlike his opponent, Zach Dembo is a public servant focused on helping Central Kentucky, not a partisan puppet,” said Olivia Dupree, Zach Dembo’s campaign manager. “As everything from gas to groceries gets more expensive in the face of this administration’s actions and Congress’ cowardice, Zach will keep folks like his grandma, who spent her life farming, in mind and work with anyone to bring these costs down. Ralph Alvarado, on the other hand, represents the same status quo that’s jacking up all of our costs and won’t lift a finger to keep working families.”
